STEN&LEX_The Next Level

Sten & Lex, pioneers of Italian stencil graffiti, take their style to the next level. Half tone graphic cages disappear in favor of a more impulsive and liberating stroke that reveals itself in their current work.


They refuse to abandon the street. On the contrary, with a new style that Sten & Lex feel is even more personal, these Roman street artists confirm their love affair with stencil art and walls en plein air. 


Hole School, the technique they introduce and develop in 2002, is still at the heart of the process. What disappears however is the hyper-realistic effect of the rigid geometries we were accustomed to, inspired by the manic precision of traditional engraving and the various classic printing techniques, such as half tone. 

LAURA LINE

Laura Laine is a Helsinky based illustrator. She has estuaries fashion at University of Art and Design Helsinky, but during her studies focused on fashion illustration. After completing her studies she has been working full-time as a freelance illustrator and is also teaching fashion illustrator at the university.

Her recent clients include Vogue Nippon, GAP, I.T store, Elle, Zara, Telegraph, Rad Hourani, The New York Times, Tommy Hilfiguer, Muse magazine, The Guardian, Iben Hoej and Daniel Palillo. She has also exhibited in San Francisco y Los Angeles.

Banksy es un magnífico ejemplo de artista completo, en el que lo que importa es el mensaje, no el medio, en el que las bases del actual arte son desechadas en tanto en cuanto sirven más a una concepción mercantilista que a la comunicación. Un autor sin prejuicios.

Thierry Guetta

Guetta se introduce en el mundo del arte urbano, lo primero que hace es autobautizarse con el alias de Mr. Brainwash (el Sr. lavado de cerebro), crear le veremos crear poco, crea un equipo de personas capaz de poner en pie sus "disparatadas ideas" —o sea, foto/copiando iconos populares e imágenes muy re.conocidas— con las que se propone triunfar en el mundo del arte. Pretende emular a Banksy, y aunque parezca increíble lo consigue...

DESDILE ESD

Dia 29 de Junio tuvo lugar el desfile de proyecto final de los alumnos de la Escuela Superior de Diseño de las Islas Baleares, donde un grupo de jóvenes diseñadores mostró sus originales diseños caracterizados por variadas manipulaciones de texturas y tendencias.
